This past weekend was Labor Day weekend. Our family had an unusual weekend. Our temporary house has/had a mold problem so the landlord found someone to take care of it this weekend since we had three days off. That meant the bathroom would be out of commission for most of the weekend.
First, the weekend started by Mom and I going to the High School football game. It was awesome!!!
Saturday, I had a soccer game. After the soccer game we decided to go to Peoria. We were going to go to St. Louis but there were a couple of sporting events going on down there and with Labor Day weekend, there weren't many hotels available. In Peoria on Saturday we did some shopping, ate supper at Buffalo Wild Wings, had some ice cream from Culver's and swam in the hotel pool.
Sunday we went to Wildlife Prairie Park. We saw a lot of different animals and walked the trails. Then we came back to the temporary house. They still wouldn't have the bathroom ready but we could sleep here if we wanted to. We went to the movie in the park and then came back here to sleep.
Monday, we went to the parade in Edinburg, came home and had lunch and then went to Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Overall, not a bad weekend.
